It's been a while since the Diageo acquisition and almost all of the Balcones single malts have disappeared from the shelves in my area of Missouri. So, What's going on with distribution?

This is the stupidest way I have ever seen to cook a Mussel. 5 min in a pot with wine and save all the pollution of pine needles. Doesn’t all that pitch get all over the shells
This is a traditional French method for smoking mussels that's been around for centuries. The pine smoke lends the mussels are very particular flavour to which we've become quite partial. We'd recommend it if you'd like to try something different but of course, if you'd rather not then that's fine - 5 minutes in a pot with wine certainly does the trick too.

Just grabbed a bottle of this for myself, as today a small amount (I presume) of this batch became available here in Finland. I think I'm going try and have the willpower to save opening it for Christmas. I didn't understand the sad aspect for this occasion, what is the reason for batch 11 being the last CS GlenDronach being featured as whisky of the month?
The Batch 11 was the last time we ever saw this series as a Whisky of the Month. The Batch 12, the final in the series, has been launched in Australia with the Club in as limited Add In only due to much smaller production numbers.
Batch 11 is stunning. I'm not even past half way on my first bottle and I ordered a second!
It's an exemplary cask strength Sherry Bomb isn't it!
Glenturret no longer hand mashes. They started using a lauter tun in 2022.
Hi Erik, five years ago (when this video was created and published) they were still hand mashing. Sadly now this is no longer the case.

2:15 Don't they release their whiskies at 43% and I thought they do chill filter?
Ours was released at 46% ABV and it is not chill filtered.

Kia ora and greetings from Germany. As a huge fan both of lovely New Zealand and whiskys I ordered a bottle of the Origin and a bottle of the Discovery. Both are great but the Origin really blew my mind. Absolutely amazing, I guess I've never tasted a "young" single malt that smooth and so tasty. Great work, I'll also order the Revelation for sure 👍
